Casa Maria, Penna San Giovanni Set in 12 acres Casa Maria is, unlike many other rental properties in the area, not isolated as it is within walking distance of an historic walled village as can be seen from the photograph above (click on The Town link). We believe location is important and you may find our proximity to the town, with its shops, restaurant and bars as well as bank, doctor, pharmacy and post office, a distinct advantage when you have just run out of milk or simply want a leisurely lunch. Casa Maria has 6 bedrooms - sleeping up to 12 people. This is the 'real' Italy so you will be pleased with the cost of living - even if the pound stays weak.  A Pool with a view Our complimentary information pack has details of and maps showing directions to local activities, markets, places and towns worth seeing, and suggestions for day trips as well as our reviews of many of the local restaurants. From the swimming pool area is a panoramic view south over the hills and valleys of this beautiful part of Italy. The pool has steps making it easy to get in and out.  Taking Some Rays This area is an elevated suntrap with a number of sun umbrellas, garden seating, tables, deck chairs, sun loungers and a shower. An outside socket allows you to plug in your stereo etc. A large moveable barbeque is available. Le Marche is famous for wonderful food and the local wines traditionally served in restaurants of great quality and (still even now) very reasonable. When you book we will send you an information pack on the area which includes a guide to local cuisne and our views/recommendations on most of the restaurants within an hour of the house.
